Combining her knowledge of savoir vivre and her fascination with colour, fabrics, décor and food, Mayme Vineberg launched Intimate Settings eleven years ago. The company offers two complementary services.  First, as a personal concierge to clients hosting social, corporate, or fundraising events,  Intimate Settings  sources and coordinates everything for the event - from consultation to the completion. We have contributed to the success of many private and public affairs.  Corporate events include designing a dinner for President Clinton, a Grand Prix evening for the Formula 1 McLaren-Mercedes team, and fundraising receptions at Place des Arts and other event venues.

Intimate Settings began offering workshops on the art and etiquette of dining as a result of client demand for instruction on creative table settings. However, one must be familiar with the rules and tools that are the building blocks of a table setting before breaking out all the bells and whistles.  Intimate Settings has developed informal, yet very informative presentations on entertaining etiquette, social dining etiquette and business dining etiquette.  After negotiating all the elements of a table setting, the workshops are tailored to each of the three aspects of dining etiquette. Subjects can also be combined to meet the specific needs of the client. In addition to offering one-on-one coaching and group workshops for corporate clients and McGill University, Ms. Vineberg has acted as an on-air consultant to Montreal radio and television stations answering questions of dining etiquette.
